Women of the Word
WOMEN of the WORD
Women of the Word (WoW) is the women’s ministry of the Chicago Apostolic Christian Church. We organize activities and programs for women throughout the year, including:
– Saturday WoW sessions: Women get together as a larger group (~15-20 women) on a Saturday morning to discuss a biblical topic in an encouraging environment (at church or someone’s house). A light breakfast is provided. (No childcare)
– Weekday morning WoW: Twice a year we get together in someone’s home on a weekday morning, usually with smaller attendance, for fellowship and discussion. A light snack and childcare are provided on weekday mornings.
– Weekday evening WoW: Twice a year we get together in someone’s home on a weekday morning, for fellowship and discussion (light snack, no childcare)
We also offer a WoW Partners program where women can pair up for the year to strengthen relationships in a group of two or three.
There are no fees associated with WoW, and all women high school age and older are welcome to participate!
